A brief history of Department

Department was established in 2007 and first batch of 2 students completed their B. Sc. III – Mathematics in the year 2010. With increasing interest of students in Mathematics strength of students has increased. Department is equipped with 5 computers and 1 printer. To develop more interest in Mathematics “Ramanujan Club” was started in 2014. Various activities like poster presentation, Quiz competition, Career guidance have been carried out by the department through the Ramanujan club.

The vision of the department is not only to transform young people to competent and motivated professionals but also to contribute to the development of the nation, through research, consultancy and training activities.
