Mouni Vidyapeeth is a rural institute established in 1952. Karmaveer Hire Arts, Science, Commerce and Education College is one of the foremost, institutions committed to the cause of social and spiritual welfare of people for over fifty years. This institution has been rendering service in the area of the education of rural masses. When the college was established way back in 1971The main objective of the institute is education through rural reconstruction and rural reconstruction through education. Due to this objective the Arts, Commerce and education wings are started in 1971. Before 1971 the commerce department is known as DRS- Cooperation. From academic year 2016-17 the extra non grant division was started due to the overwhelming response of students. The teachers who have served in this department have not only taught students but also made efforts to prepare them to fit into teaching, research, government jobs and social service as well.

Our Department of Commerce promotes learning at all level of commercial organizations (Industry, Co-operation, Services, Agriculture, Economy etc.). Our integrative focus reflects the importance of strong disciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches of commerce in teaching and research. We strive to create awareness in the students about commerce which has direct dealing with their day to day life.

To promote the quality education for the study and broad communication of knowledge about commerce and industry including their importance.

• The teachers and students also make use of the college library.

• The department is proud about the achievements of the students. From the past six years they have achieved 99% results in all the semesters and annual pattern examinations. This in turn reflects the achievement of the teachers.
